The first draft is done and i have someone doing a once over to check for the most glaring mistakes. Once that's done then I will go back through it myself but will probably start to publish chapters as I do so. Depending on schedule I could go back to putting content on this month although it will probably only be once a week or so. I'm currently starting to plot out book 3 and with work ramping up my free time will be a bit less for now. Still it's a big step in the right direction.

I just started Chapt 20 which is 86K words into the novel. I still have some details to work out but I have the next couple of chapters pretty much planned. Once I get the first draft done my plan is to start going though it and doing some more updates.

The first novel is currently being professionally edited and that should finish next week. once the is done I will start all the publishing process. I am going to be adding an author's page in the near future and will dump a link on the link page.

 

I have been working on a number of things on the book front. Most importantly to me, I have decided to self-publish the first novel, The Enemy Revealed. That has meant doing a lot of reformatting and editing just to get the book together as well as some rewriting. I am going to have it professionally edited once I finish going through the clean-up. I am not going to pimp the book but if you are interested in buying an actual book to have, let me know and I will supply the details.

Also, I have decided I can't go ahead and publish the second book as I write it. It is simply too sloppy and hard to read. I normally go through it several times making constant changes. And even then there are plenty of mistakes. Worse, I do not work out every detail ahead of time and I have already gone back through and changed things several times. I expect it would not make much sense if I threw it up there as I went along. 

I am definitely working on it. Much of my time has gone into the first book, but I have finished the first draft of Chapt 9 already on the new book. The whole thing is running longer then the first book but it's likely I won't have as many chapters. Currently by page count I would be almost through Chapt 12 in the first book.

Some of you are still checking the page. If you want, send me an email and I'll make a list and then email the group of you when I get back into posting it. Hopefully, it will not take horribly long but it will depend on time and inspiration. 

Just a quick note I forgot to mention earlier. I am thinking of potentially self-publishing the first book and then getting it listed on amazon.This is very much up in the air, but I figured I would post to see if anyone would have an interest in actually buying the book online.

I have chapter one posted in full. The chapters in this book are running longer then the last so I will probably be breaking up a lot of them. But since the wait was so long I went ahead and just posted the whole of chapter 1.

Now for a little peak behind the curtain if you will and the reason things are going to be going slow. When I write I usually do so without much of a net. I make a few notes and work out scenes in my head but generally just write straight through. This means that there is often some decisions made at the beginning that simply get changed. 

Normally I just go back and change them or catch it in editing. For this book, however, I am trying to actually work out most of these decisions ahead of time so there won't be as much confusion later. Of course this means that rather then actually writing I am working on an outline and some scene details. 

I do have about seven chapters done currently and a basic outline for another ten or so. I will try to stay far enough ahead to keep being able to post content once a week. Any changes will of course be posted here.

 

Hey folks,

Just a quick note with some good and bad news. The good news is I will be eventually posting the sequel here in its entirety. It seems enough people want to read it, so I will write it. The bad news is that work and life are currently swamping me. So I probably will not post the first real chapter until the first week in January. I expect it will be a somewhat long process to get the whole novel posted but if you're patient hopefully you'll enjoy the story.  

I have posted the prologue and put the link on the side navigation bar. It's not that long, but should give people a general feel about what the second novel is about. It's a different setting and has a bunch of new characters in it. Let me know what you think.

I am getting the new site up and going. It will run pretty much the same way the old site ran except I am going to do an actual blog rather then just changing the text on the front page. This is the first blog posting, hopefully it will be easier to read.
